The amount of joy registered on the faces of students of the College of Technology (COLTEK), an affiliate campus of the University of Education, Winneba was inexplicable as the Sandwich batch of students have finally put the 2019/2020 academic year to an end.
With the institution cautious of the prevailing circumstances as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic and government’s directive to ensure safe and conducive environment for students returning to campus to complete their end of semester exams, management of the school had adequately prepared and beefed up its strategies to ensure no cases of COVID-19 are either reported or transmitted.
Some of the students from the Department of Hospitality and Tourism at the time of this report on Friday, September 25, 2020, have successfully concluded their last examination paper for the semester.
Sharing their experience, they expressed gratitude to the management of the school for enabling them complete their second semester and also putting in measures to curb the spread of the virus. They were also grateful to the government for creating the avenue for them to return to campus.
Meanwhile, students of COLTEK will be hoping to return to school to continue with their academic works in line with the government’s directive and that of the management of the school.
