Dr Charles Baba Campion, Chief Patron of the Student Parliament of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) has encouraged student parliamentarians to learn from what transpires on the national stage in dealing with the motions in the house.
Highlighting importance of the theme; “The Impact of Socio-Economic Growth on Academic Development” organised by the Student Parliament of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) on Saturday, July 17, 2021, Dr Baba Campion expressed his delight at the sheer genuity of members to come up with such a topic.
“I want to congratulate Members of Parliament for this noble Paper Presentation that they had; The Impact of Socio-Economic Growth on Academic Development. This is a very good topic. And I think that it is also an academic exercise.”
The Chief Patron meanwhile, advised student parliamentarians not to be carried away with passion when deliberating on the topic.
“I will also plead that while we try to exercise this academic exuberance, we should try as much as possible not to drag issue” he admonished.
Dr Campion also took to opportunity to congratulate the Deputy Minority Leader, Hon. Waheeb Sakah for winning two prestigious awards; The Best Delegate and the Overall Best Candidate at the United Nations Environmental Programme held in Accra.
