Match Day 2: Infotess Humbles Royals by 2-0

Infotess vrs Atwima Hall

Infotess battled hard to earn the statement victory that has placed them ahead on the league standing in Group B as they await the outcome of  Opoku Ware || Hall and Mathematics Students Association (AMES)

It was lovely to watch lnfotess and Atwima Hall displaying good football at the University School park and still became the talk of the night after the match.

The game was that of a midfielder battle which  Infotess on numerous occasions outclassed  their opponents. Both team had glorious opportunity but couldn’t kiss the net with the ball.

Building up to the first goal, Infotess made good use of their  counter attacking prowess  which was initiated by striker; Elikem Solomon at the right flank and square the ball into the Atwima Hall Goalkeeper’s 18 yard box. But lack of communication paved way for Suleman Yahaya to score for Infotess on 27th minutes

The game became a ding dong affair till the referee whistle for the end of the first half.

After the first half break, both sides made vital substitutions to either change the fortunes or to hold on for the win

In the second half, Atwima Hall came in stronger and found their rhythm but Infotess were more relaxed. All pressures mounted by Atwima Hall to rescue a point were  squandered as glaring chances where not utilized.

However, in the 56 minutes of play, the supersub for infotess Osei Tutu scored the second goal through another miscommunication between the goalkeeper and the defense.

The game ended in favour of Infotess and Emmanuel Obeng Jnr won the Man of the Match
