Hon Mireku Duker, meanwhile, entreated the beneficiaries to make good use of the interest-free loan in order to expand their business operations and improve their livelihood.
The post as captured on the MP’s Instagram handle is below
Friday, August 13, 2021, I presented interest-free loans to some Two-Hundred (200) women within the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency involved in small-medium-scaled business related activities to support and expand their operations.
This is the first phase of series of such gestures in my second term as the Member of Parliament in line with my women Empowerment modules.
As the facility boosts the capacity of individual traders, it is envisaged to contribute towards the growth of the local economy of Tarkwa-Nsuaem to a greater extent and also improve upon the standard of living of families of Beneficiaries.
I urged the Beneficiaries to put the money to a very good use and payback with no hustle.
We shall keep serving the interest of Tarkwa-Nsuaem.
